VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Location: Hull
Salary: £35,800 - £46,500 Basic Salary DOE | OTE £42,000 - £53,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week | Rota between 8:00am - 6:00pm
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and vehicle preparation while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest possible standards.
Key responsibilities include:
andmiddot;Carrying out servicing and repairs on a range of vehicles
andmiddot;Performing mechanical and electrical diagnostics
andmiddot;Carrying out fault finding and repairs
andmiddot;Working on EV and hybrid vehicle systems
andmiddot;Completing software updates where required
andmiddot;Preparing new and used vehicles for sale
andmiddot;Ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently
andmiddot;Maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and attention to detail
andmiddot;Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team
ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
andmiddot;Minimum Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
andmiddot;Previous experience within a professional automotive workshop
andmiddot;Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
andmiddot;Experience with modern vehicle technology, including EV/Hybrid systems, is desirable
andmiddot;A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
andmiddot;A positive attitude and willingness to continue developing technically
andmiddot;Full UK Driving Licence
andmiddot;Ability to pass a satisfactory DBS check
andmiddot;Main dealer experience is desirable but not essential
