VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Location: Guildford
Salary: Up to £40,000 Basic Salary + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm | Saturday on Rota, 8:30am - 12:30pm, Paid as Overtime
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
andmiddot;Carrying out a variety of servicing and maintenance operations
andmiddot;Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults
andmiddot;Completing mechanical repairs and defined assembly operations
andmiddot;Working efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
andmiddot;Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards
andmiddot;Accurately documenting completed service and repair work
andmiddot;Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying additional work where required
andmiddot;Working closely with Service Advisors and other workshop colleagues
andmiddot;Providing excellent technical support and customer service

ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
andmiddot;Minimum 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
andmiddot;Strong mechanical and technical skills
andmiddot;Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
andmiddot;Own tools and toolbox
andmiddot;MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
andmiddot;Ability to work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
andmiddot;Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
andmiddot;Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
