An exciting opportunity to work in a successful primary school in Haringey has arisen. They require a Year 5 Teacher from September 2026 - July 2027. The school is currently rated as 'Good' by Ofsted and has a vibrant and progressive staff body. Children in the school are well behaved and understand the importance of the school's values and this is reflected in the ever-improving outcomes of the children.

The school boasts a calm and purposeful learning environment where every child is catered for. You will be working alongside a forward-thinking team of teachers who pride themselves on providing an excellent education for the children in their care.

The successful candidate would be required to:

andtimes; Develop lesson plans which meet established school and national curriculum models

andtimes; Manage the diverse ability levels of students

andtimes; Adapt curriculum to fit student needs while maintaining overall class progress

andtimes; Possesses and continually develops working knowledge of national curriculum programmes and frameworks

andtimes; Assess and record student development, while identifying problem areas and areas which need attention and improvement

andtimes; Provide a safe, positive learning environment for students

andtimes; Maintain order and discipline among students while promoting safety and compliance with school rules and guidelines

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
