The Role: Automotive Service Advisor
As a Service Advisor, you'll be the main point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring every customer receives a professional, friendly and efficient service experience.
You'll take responsibility for managing customer bookings, coordinating workshop activity and identifying opportunities to maximise customer satisfaction and aftersales revenue.

Your responsibilities will include:
andmiddot;Managing customer service and maintenance bookings
andmiddot;Welcoming customers and discussing their vehicle requirements
andmiddot;Ensuring efficient workshop loading and technician utilisation
andmiddot;Keeping customers updated throughout the service and repair process
andmiddot;Explaining recommended repairs and additional work clearly and professionally
andmiddot;Upselling additional products, services, service plans and special offers
andmiddot;Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records within the dealership management system
andmiddot;Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
andmiddot;Working closely with the workshop team to deliver an efficient and high-quality service

What We're Looking For
andmiddot;Previous experience working as a Automotive Service Advisor within a car dealership is essential
andmiddot;Excellent customer service and communication skills
andmiddot;Confident handling customer enquiries and managing expectations
andmiddot;Previous experience upselling additional work, products or services
andmiddot;Knowledge of Kerridge, 1link, Pinnacle or similar Dealer Management Systems (DMS)
andmiddot;Strong organisational and time-management skills
andmiddot;Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced Service Department
andmiddot;A professional, positive and customer-focused approach
andmiddot;Full manual UK driving licence
