This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Therapists, or Teachers looking to build hands-on experience within a specialist setting.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of Special Educational Needs.
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and engagement in learning.
  • Support students with their communication, social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor students' progress and wellbeing throughout the school day.

We're looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is:

  • Patient, compassionate, and passionate about supporting young people with SEN.
  • A confident communicator with a positive and proactive approach.
  • Interested in gaining practical experience before a career in psychology, therapy, or education.

Job Details

  • Location: Slough
  • Setting: Secondary SEN School
  • Start Date: September
  • Pay: £93 - £110 per day
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
  • Contract: Full-time
