Carrington West are working with a specialist contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a £7.5m infrastructure scheme at Felixstowe Port.

The project involves the replacement of twin crane rails within a live port environment, alongside associated heavy civil engineering works.

The Role

You will take overall responsibility for project delivery, managing site teams, subcontractors, programme, commercial performance, health & safety and client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

andmiddot;Managing the project from mobilisation through to completion
andmiddot;Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and engineering teams
andmiddot;Managing programme, cost, quality and health & safety
andmiddot;Overseeing construction sequencing, logistics and site interfaces
andmiddot;Monitoring progress and driving delivery on site
andmiddot;Liaising with the client and key port stakeholders
andmiddot;Managing project risks, change and reporting

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:

andmiddot;Previous Project Management experience within heavy civils
andmiddot;Experience delivering projects valued at £5m+
andmiddot;Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction
andmiddot;Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams
andmiddot;Strong programme, commercial and stakeholder management skills
andmiddot;Experience working within live or operational environments
andmiddot;Relevant construction or project management qualifications
