A well-established construction consultancy in Leeds is looking for a Project Manager to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to work across a varied portfolio of projects while taking responsibility for delivering schemes from inception through to completion.

The Project Manager will work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, managing projects through every stage of the construction lifecycle. This Project Manager role would suit a confident Project Manager who enjoys building strong client relationships, leading multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes. The successful Project Manager will join a collaborative consultancy with a strong regional presence, an excellent reputation, and clear opportunities for career progression.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.



The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will lead projects through pre-contract and post-contract stages, ensuring successful delivery from feasibility through to handover.

The Project Manager will be responsible for programme management, procurement, consultant coordination, contract administration, project reporting, stakeholder management, risk management, and change control. They will chair meetings, monitor project performance, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The Project Manager will also maintain strong client relationships, provide professional advice throughout the project lifecycle, and support the continued growth of the Leeds office through excellent service delivery.



The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will have:

  • Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
  • Experience delivering construction projects through pre-contract and post-contract stages
  • A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline
  • MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or progress towards a relevant professional qualification
  • Good knowledge of JCT contracts and construction procurement
  • Strong communication, organisation, and client-facing skills
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant teams
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A proactive, professional, and commercially aware approach
