Production Operative

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:15 am-4:15 pm

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Contract: Initial 6-month contract, with potential for a long-term/rolling contract

We are currently recruiting for a Swab Packing Operative to join a busy production operation in Hemel Hempstead. The role involves packing swabs using production machinery, following quality procedures and carrying out repetitive tasks. The successful candidate will be reliable, self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative

• Operating swab packing machinery safely and efficiently
• Packing swabs accurately and consistently
• Carrying out repetitive production activities to a high standard
• Following production, quality and safety procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Working independently and managing tasks effectively
• Reporting any equipment, production or quality issues when required

You should be:

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Comfortable working independently for periods of time
• Self-motivated and able to stay focused on repetitive tasks
• Consistent and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working to set procedures and quality standards
• Ideally experienced in a production, manufacturing, packing or warehouse environment, although relevant experience and attitude will also be considered
