An established automotive dealership in Crawley is seeking a highly skilled Parts Advisor to join their professional team. This is a pivotal role within a reputable organisation committed to delivering excellent customer service and operational excellence. The Parts Advisor will be instrumental in managing parts inventory, supporting workshop operations, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Benefits for the successful Parts Advisor:

• Competitive basic salary of up to £35,000, with an OTE of approximately £47,000 via bonuses
• Working hours of 42.5 per week, Monday to Friday
• One in four Saturday mornings on a rota, with a four-hour shift

Duties of the Parts Advisor:

• Deliver excellent customer service to retail and trade clients both face-to-face and over the phone
• Manage parts stock levels, ensuring the availability of required parts
• Assist with the ordering and procurement of parts to meet dealership demands
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions
• Support the workshop and service departments with parts requirements
• Collaborate with the service team to facilitate smooth workshop operations
• Support the parts department in achieving its operational goals

Requirements of the Parts Advisor:

• Proven experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor trade industry
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of automotive parts systems and relevant software is advantageous
• Positive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence
