THE ROLE
As a Senior Bodyshop Painter, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality paint repairs and refinishing work on accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring every vehicle meets manufacturer and industry-leading standards. You will play an important role within the bodyshop team, using your experience to deliver exceptional finishes while supporting efficient vehicle throughput and maintaining consistently high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
andmiddot;Prepare and paint accident-damaged vehicles to a high professional standard
andmiddot;Carry out full and partial resprays, blending, colour matching and refinishing
andmiddot;Complete preparation, masking, priming and final finishing work as required
andmiddot;Identify and rectify paint defects to achieve a flawless factory-quality finish
andmiddot;Work closely with Panel Technicians, MET Technicians, Preppers and Workshop Controllers
andmiddot;Maintain high standards of productivity while working to agreed repair times and KPIs
andmiddot;Ensure paint equipment and work areas are maintained to a clean, safe and professional standard
andmiddot;Follow manufacturer repair methods, bodyshop quality standards and Health & Safety procedures

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced Senior Bodyshop Painter who takes pride in their workmanship, has excellent technical knowledge and can consistently deliver high-quality repairs within a busy accident repair environment.

andmiddot;Extensive experience as a Paint Technician, Paint Sprayer or Bodyshop Painter
andmiddot;Previous experience within an automotive accident repair centre or bodyshop
andmiddot;Strong knowledge of modern automotive paint systems and refinishing techniques
andmiddot;Experienced in colour matching, blending, full and partial resprays
andmiddot;High level of preparation and finishing skills
andmiddot;Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
andmiddot;Ability to work efficiently to production times, KPIs and quality standards
andmiddot;Able to work independently while also supporting and working effectively with a wider bodyshop team
andmiddot;IMI and/or ATA qualification advantageous
andmiddot;Full UK Driving Licence preferred
andmiddot;Professional, reliable and quality-focused approach
