Mechanical Engineer

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mechanical Engineer on a static site to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
Role Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plumbing, ventilation (AHUs, extract/intake), heating and cooling systems (FCUs, thermal wheels), and water assets (booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters)
- Identify and report defects, ensuring all documentation, inspection reports and remedial logs are completed accurately and on time
- Respond to client queries and deliver a high standard of customer service at all times
- Work safely in line with Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work and safe systems of work, including tasks at height
- Build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues, contributing to a collaborative team environment
What we're looking for:
- Experience working in maintenance or facilities management environments
- Relevant mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent)
- Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices
- Comfortable using IT systems and mobile devices for reporting and workflows
- Strong communication skills with a proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure
