  • Interpret engineering specifications, P&IDs and site information to deliver accurate, coordinated designs.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment schedules, material take-offs, bills of materials and supporting technical documentation.
  • Identify design clashes, installation constraints and potential engineering risks.
  • Liaise with project managers, contractors and suppliers to resolve technical queries and support project delivery.
  • Undertake occasional UK site visits for surveys, dimensional checks and installation support.
  • Ensure all drawings and documentation meet relevant engineering standards and project requirements.
Candidate Profile
  • A practical, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles, equipment layouts and installation requirements.
  • Experience preparing engineering schedules and technical documentation.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • At least 2 years' practical experience using Autodesk Revit, ideally within mechanical, process or plant engineering.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and P&IDs.
  • Experience producing detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to UK project sites.
Desirable: Experience in water treatment, wastewater, utilities or process engineering; familiarity with pumps, valves, pipework, fabrication and BIM principles.
An HNC, HND or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline would be advantageous, although relevant practical experience will also be considered.

Role would be contracted to 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Primarily office based.
