Taylormade Employment are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machinery Operator to join one of our manufacturing companies based in the Market Weighton area.

The role is permanent direct with the company.

Monday to Friday 8am until 4.30pm

Salary £31,616 per year.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience operating various machinery in a fabrication or warehouse environment. As a Machinery Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment to ensure efficient production processes. Your expertise in fabrication, tooling, and materials handling will contribute significantly to our operational success. Duties

• Operate and monitor machinery such as press brake machines, CNC equipment, and other fabrication tools to produce high-quality components.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting controllers and mechanical systems to minimise downtime.
• Handle materials efficiently, including loading, unloading, and organising raw materials and finished products within the warehouse environment.
• Utilise hand tools and welding equipment for assembly, repairs, and modifications of machinery parts or fabricated components.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace to adhere to health regulations and ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in the development of tooling setups and adjustments to optimize manufacturing processes for accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating industrial machinery within a fabrication setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in milling, welding, assembly, and materials handling.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control assessments.
