KS1 Teacher
Job Description
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming school in Orpington on a full-time basis, starting ASAP.
Location: Orpington
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time
Qualification: QTS required
The Role
The successful teacher will take full responsibility for their own KS1 class, including:
Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
Managing the classroom and maintaining a positive learning environment
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
Differentiating learning to meet individual needs
Working closely with colleagues, parents and the wider school team
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
KS1 teaching experience
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to independently plan and deliver lessons
Current DBS required, or willingness to apply for a new DBS
Driver preferred, due to the location
