The Opportunity
We're looking for an HSE Advisor to join us on a permanent basis at our newly acquired Fuel Depot near Helensburgh.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing a high-performing, COMAH-compliant site. Working closely with Depot and Project Managers, you'll provide expert health, safety and environmental support, helping ensure safe, sustainable operations while driving continuous improvement across the site.
You'll be involved in auditing, contractor assurance, incident investigation, risk management, and the implementation of our Safety Management System (SMS), while building strong relationships with everyone from site teams to regulators.
Occasional travel to other UK sites is required, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

The Opportunity

You'll be involved in auditing, contractor assurance, incident investigation, risk management, and the implementation of our Safety Management System (SMS), while building strong relationships with everyone from site teams to regulators.

What You'll Do
- Provide expert HSSE advice to site leadership.
- Support CDM compliance and project delivery.
- Drive COMAH compliance through effective risk management and ALARP principles.
- Conduct audits, investigations and contractor assurance activities.
- Support and improve Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).
- Monitor HSSE performance, corrective actions and reporting.
- Contribute to emergency preparedness and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You'll ideally have:
- An Engineering background (preferred).
- NEBOSH qualification.
- At least two years' HSE experience in a COMAH or other major hazard environment.
- Experience in occupational health & safety, environmental management and process safety.
- Knowledge of CDM, COMAH regulations and major accident hazard legislation.
- Experience with risk assessments, audits and HSE management systems.
- Strong report writing and Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel).
- The confidence to work independently while building effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.
