About Our Customer

Our customer is a long-established Fire & Security provider with a trading history stretching back over three decades. Operating across multiple UK locations, they deliver a broad range of fire and security services, from fire alarm systems and emergency lighting to fire extinguisher maintenance and specialist suppression systems, and hold NSI and BAFE accreditation. Reporting to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will take full responsibility for the performance of the Romford branch, leading a team of engineers and office staff while driving operational efficiency, maintaining compliance and delivering a strong customer experience.

Key Responsibilities - Branch Manager

• Take ownership of the day-to-day running of the Romford branch
• Build and maintain strong, lasting customer relationships
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of engineers and office-based staff
• Maintain compliance with NSI, BAFE and relevant British Standards
• Drive branch performance, operational efficiency and business growth
• Review and produce Method Statements and Risk Assessments in line with CDM Regulations
• Ensure operational documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Promote best practice, continuous improvement and adherence to company policy
• Oversee the successful delivery of Fire & Security service and repair work

Skills and Experience - Branch Manager

• Previous management or senior supervisory experience within the Fire & Security industry
• Experience working for an NSI and/or BAFE accredited company
• Strong technical knowledge of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
• Experience with CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and door entry systems
• Working knowledge of British Standards and BAFE requirements
• Experience producing Method Statements and Risk Assessments in line with CDM Regulations
• Competent with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to pass BS7858 vetting and Enhanced DBS checks
• Full UK driving licence
• Desirable: BS5839 and BS5266/FIA qualifications
• Desirable: knowledge of PD6662 and NSI standards
• Desirable: ECS or CSCS card
• Desirable: experience driving operational improvements and business growth
