Field Service Engineer (Mechincal)
£35,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + Door-to-Door Pay + Company Van + Training

Are you a Mechanical Engineer with experience in forklifts, plant, agricultural machinery, cars or HGVs, looking to develop your skills in a field-based role?

On offer is the opportunity to join a leading independent forklift business specialising in the sales, servicing and hire of materials handling equipment across the South West. You'll receive full training to develop your knowledge of a range of forklift trucks, alongside a company van, door-to-door pay and overtime opportunities.

In this role you'll travel to customer sites across Wiltshire and the surrounding areas, carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment. You'll diagnose faults, complete inspections and prepare machinery for hire, with full in-house and manufacturer training provided.

This role would suit a Field Service Engineer with experience in forklifts, plant, agricultural machinery, cars or HGVs who enjoys hands-on work and fault finding, and is looking to develop their technical skills within the materials handling industry.

The Role:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer and company forklift trucks.
• Diagnose faults on gas, diesel and electric machinery.
• Complete inspections and prepare machines for hire.
• Travel to customer sites across the local Wiltshire patch.

The Person:

• Previous engineering experience with forklifts, plant, agricultural machinery, cars or HGVs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Commutable to Wiltshire.
