Salary: £58,000 - £70,000 Package (DOE)

The Opportunity

This is a unique and career-defining role for a Faandccedil;ade Engineer or Senior Faandccedil;ade Engineer to work directly alongside the future Director, helping to grow and shape the business.

With the current owner planning a gradual retirement over the next 3-4 years, this role offers:

The Role

You will play a key role across both faandccedil;ade design and investigative consultancy projects, including:

Design Responsibilities

• Provide conceptual advice on faandccedil;ade system selection and suitability
• Develop faandccedil;ade performance specifications and drawings
• Carry out thermal, acoustic, solar and embodied carbon assessments
• Undertake structural calculations for frames and glazing systems
• Coordinate faandccedil;ade design with fire, security and other disciplines
• Support tender-stage documentation and Employer's Requirements

Consultancy / Survey Responsibilities

• Assist with faandccedil;ade inspections and condition surveys
• Support defect investigations and forensic analysis
• Contribute to remedial design and refurbishment strategies

About You

• Faandccedil;ade design experience
• Background working for a faandccedil;ade consultancy or specialist contractor
• Strong technical understanding of faandccedil;ade systems
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Interest in developing broader consultancy and survey experience

Desirable:

• Previous experience of survey work is desirable but not essential as guidance will be provided
• Interest in business development and client engagement
