The Opportunity

We are looking for qualified and experienced ESOL Tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to learners in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference by helping students develop their English language skills, improve their confidence, and achieve their personal, educational, and employment goals.

Tutors will work with students in a one-to-one setting, delivering engaging and personalised ESOL lessons that are tailored to each learner's individual needs, current ability, and learning objectives. Many learners may require additional support due to language barriers, interrupted education, or other challenges, so patience, adaptability, and a supportive approach are essential.

Position Details

* Location: Liverpool
* Position: ESOL Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications

* ESOL teaching qualification (such as CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, or equivalent) is desirable
* Experience teaching English to speakers of other languages
* UK teaching or tutoring experience is advantageous
* Experience supporting learners with varying levels of English ability
* A creative, patient, and flexible approach to teaching

To be eligible for this role, you must:

* Hold the right to work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional references related to working with children, young people, or adult learners
