An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Ecologist to join a growing, multidisciplinary environmental consultancy delivering innovative ecological solutions across development, infrastructure and sustainability projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team passionate about biodiversity, nature conservation and creating sustainable communities.

As a Consultant Ecologist, you will contribute to a varied project portfolio, undertaking ecological surveys, preparing technical reports and advising clients on ecological constraints and opportunities. You will work alongside other environmental specialists, supporting projects from initial assessments through to mitigation and delivery.

Requirements:

• A degree in Ecology, Biology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
• Previous ecological consultancy experience
• Experience undertaking habitat and protected species surveys
• Good report writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Living in or near Winchester, or within a commutable distance of the office
