Full-time | 7:30am-4:00pm

We are looking for a Drainage Operative to join a small, hands-on field team.

With fewer than 10 operatives out in the field, this is a practical role where everyone plays an important part. You'll have the opportunity to get involved in different areas of drainage work, take responsibility and develop your skills.

The role will involve:

• Drainage maintenance and repairs

• Minor excavations

• Mainly hand digging

• Spraying pipes

• General drainage and groundwork duties

• Working outdoors and carrying out physical, hands-on work

• Working independently when required

• Taking part in a 1-in-3 week call-out rota

We're looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and willing to get stuck in. Being part of a small team means everyone needs to pull their weight and help wherever required.

• Valid UK driving licence

• Fewer than 6 points on your licence

• Previous drainage, groundworks, utilities or construction experience preferred

• Comfortable with manual work and hand digging

• Reliable and flexible

• Happy working outdoors

• Practical and hands-on approach

• Able to work independently when required

• Willing to participate in the 1-in-3 call-out rota

• 7:30am-4:00pm working hours

• Overtime available
