Night Shift Production Operative - Concrete Manufacturing

£15.80 per hour | Overtime £20.86+ | Temp to Perm | Sunday-Thursday Nights

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting for Night Shift Production Operatives to join a leading UK manufacturer of pre-cast concrete products in Alfreton. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in production, manufacturing, concrete, engineering, fabrication, construction or heavy industrial environments.

• £15.80 per hour (including 90p hourly bonus)
• Overtime paid from £20.86 per hour
• Ongoing temporary role with genuine permanent opportunities
• Full-time, regular night shifts
• Weekly pay

• Manufacturing pre-cast concrete products to production targets
• Preparing, filling and finishing concrete moulds
• Operating manufacturing machinery and production equipment
• Using hand and power tools to finish concrete products
• Fitting steel reinforcement and metal components where required
• Carrying out quality inspections to ensure products meet specification
• Reading and working from production drawings and work instructions
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
• Supporting colleagues across the production and yard departments when required

• Previous experience as a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative, Concrete Operative, Engineering Operative or Machine Operative
• Experience within concrete production, steel fabrication, engineering, construction or heavy manufacturing is highly desirable
• Confidence using hand and power tools
• A strong work ethic and good attention to detail
• The ability to carry out manual handling in a physically demanding environment
• Overhead crane or FLT experience would be beneficial but isn't essential

Sunday - Thursday
9:00pm - 6:30am
30-minute unpaid break

• £15.80 per hour (including hourly production bonus)
• Overtime from £20.86 per hour
