Catering Assistant - Immediate Start

Location: Widnes
Hours: 9:30am - 1:30pm
Contract: Temporary
Start Date: Immediate
Requirement: Enhanced DBS required

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant to join a catering team in Widnes on a temporary basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time daytime hours. You will be supporting the Unit Manager with the day-to-day running of the kitchen and dining service.

Duties will include:

• Serving food
• General kitchen and catering duties
• Cleaning kitchen and dining areas
• Washing up and maintaining a clean working environment
• Basic food preparation when required
• Supporting the Unit Manager with general tasks
• Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures

What we're looking for:

• Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS
• Available to start immediately
• Reliable and punctual
• Friendly and comfortable working within a school environment
• Previous catering experience would be beneficial but is not essential
• Able to work well as part of a team

Hours are 9:30am to 1:30pm, making this ideal for someone looking for part-time work during school hours.
